  1. Battery Capacity (kWh):

  2. Efficiency (kWh/100 miles):

  3. Driving Habits Factor (0.5 to 1.5):
    • This factor accounts for your driving behavior:
      • 0.5: Very conservative driving (maximizes range).
      • 1.0: Average driving habits.
      • 1.5: Aggressive driving (minimizes range).
    • Adjust the slider or input a number within the range based on your driving style.
  4. Weather Condition Factor (0.8 to 1.2):
    • This factor adjusts for weather conditions:
      • 0.8: Adverse weather (cold or extreme heat reducing range).
      • 1.0: Moderate weather (normal conditions).
      • 1.2: Favorable weather (optimal temperature for EV efficiency).
    • Select the value closest to the weather conditions during your drive.

Example Calculation

  • Battery Capacity: 75 kWh
  • Efficiency: 30 kWh/100 miles
  • Driving Habits Factor: 1.2 (moderate driving)
  • Weather Condition Factor: 0.9 (cold weather)

Range (miles)=7530×100×1.2×0.9=270 miles\text{Range (miles)} = \frac{75}{30} \times 100 \times 1.2 \times 0.9 = 270 \text{ miles}Range (miles)=3075​×100×1.2×0.9=270 miles
