How to Use the EV Charging Cost Calculator

  1. Add the Code to Your Website:

    • Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
    • Navigate to the page or post where you want the calculator to appear.
    • Add a Custom HTML Block or use a page builder like Elementor to paste the code into the desired section.
  2. Save and Publish:
    • After pasting the code, click Update or Publish to make the calculator live on your website.
  3. Using the Calculator:
    • Open the webpage where the calculator is embedded.
    • Input the Required Values:
      • Battery Capacity (kWh): Enter the capacity of your EV battery in kilowatt-hours (default: 4).
      • Cost of Electricity (per kWh): Input the price you pay for electricity per kilowatt-hour (default: $0.03).
      • Charger Efficiency (%): Provide the efficiency of your EV charger as a percentage (default: 90).
    • Click the “Calculate Charging Cost” button.
  4. View the Results:
    • The result will be displayed below the button, showing the estimated cost to charge your EV.
  5. Customization (Optional):
    • Modify the default values (value="4", value="0.03", etc.) to align with your typical use case.
    • Adjust the CSS in the <style> section to match your website’s theme.
